The Model 6212 Portable Lasercheck® Head is the most rugged surface roughness gage in the world. With a compact, portable and easy-to-use format, the sensor is very repeatable. The design has no moving parts and is built from a solid aluminum block. It never needs recalibration. The model 6212 provides a nominal roughness range from 0.0125 to 2 micron (1 to 80 microinches). All Lasercheck® surface roughness measurement systems include a sensor head and a controller. Automated versions of the system provide all software, inputs, outputs, and features for 100% automated surface finish measurements. These systems include input triggers, alarm triggers and analog outputs. Hand-held versions of the surface finish measuring system can be used with a portable controller. All OEM Lasercheck® systems include the card-level controller to perform measurements within an existing manufacturing process or automated quality testing station. Automated Surface Roughness Gage- Lasercheck® 6212POM System

This measurement system with the 6212 sensor head and the Lasercheck® POM controller is specifically designed for automated in-line use in production and manufacturing environments. The Lasercheck® system is rugged and reliable in unforgiving manufacturing environments to perform high-volume QC work. Mounting holes are provided on the head to conveniently attach robotic positioners for accurate location of the measurement head on the measurement surface. Measurements can be performed in a small fraction of a second after receiving trigger to measure from instrument software or from a hardware trigger from the manufacturing process. Mounting accessories make in-line integration simple.

Portable Surface Roughness Gage- Lasercheck® 6212B System

Our most portable system with the model 6212 measurement head uses the battery-powered Lasercheck "B" controller. This system is designed for measuring surface roughness in several locations within a production environment or on a QC benchtop. The system can be taken from machine to machine in a manufacturing environment for rapid and precise measurements. The intuitive system is simple to learn and operate and it has memory to store measurement information for later download.

OEM Integrated Surface Roughness Gage- Lasercheck® 6212C OEM System

All OEM surface finish measuring systems include the Lasercheck® OEM controller to process measurements. The system is designed for integration into existing manufacturing or automated quality testing stations. We provide power supply, serial connector and communication protocol for integration into existing QC and production control systems. The system has mounting holes for secure installation in customer cabinet. Users create custom measurement control and display software that interfaces with the Lasercheck® OEM system.
