In 2004, Cardone Industries formed a business partnership with Delphi Corporation to cooperate in manufacturing and promoting remanufactured electronics for the international market. Under the terms of the alliance, Cardone Industries remanufactured a variety of parts for Delphi Corporation including power steering pumps for a number of GM vehicles. Delphi benefited from Cardone Industries renowned' experience with the remanufacturing process.

Each pump is computer tested to measure pressure, bypass, fluid flow, valve operation, steering effort and noise. The power steering shafts had been inspected by Delphi Corporation using Lasercheck surface roughness gages. Delphi selected the Lasercheck line to take advantage of the speed, on-line measurement capability and reliability. Cardone surfaces all parts for the pumps to Delphi original equipment specifications and verifies using the same Lasercheck tehnology selected by Delphi. The proper surface finish eliminates premature seal wear and extends pump life in high pressure hydraulic systems.
