Hardware to simplify factory integration and portability for model 6212

Lasercheck Surface Roughness measurement systems are available with many accessories allowing for complete integration into a variety of manufacturing processes.

Universal mounting assemblyUniversal Mounting Assembly

A variety of configurations are available to provide mounting and alignment of Lasercheck sensors or parts in automated applications for measurements, scanning across surfaces, or discrete measurements in multiple locations. The adaptable mounting fixture rigidly couples to production machinery. It features coarse and fine position adjustment to quickly and accurately locate Lasercheck head at exact required measurement location.

Many manufacturing processes produce fluids and contaminants that can fall onto the sensor and cause inaccuracies with any surface measurements. This option Includes an air nozzle assembly with all required valves, regulators, and pressure Indicators to optimize air flow and minimize noise. Adjustable mechanical mounts allow precise positioning of the pressurized air stream.

Cylindrical alignment fixtureCylindrical Alignment Fixtures for 8826 Measurement Heads

These easy to use fixtures allow for fast and simple alignment of cylinders and shafts of any diameter with the Lasercheck® model 8826 surface measurement heads. The 8826 series feature spring loaded legs to accommodate different diameter parts. The fixtures are made of Delran plastic so they will not scratch or damage your surface. Fixtures for the model 8826 head accommodate 20 mm (0.8”) and greater diameters.

Computer File Storage Interface

This accessory is specifically for the Lasercheck Model B portable controllers to allow transfer of stored measurements in the controller to a host computer in ASCII text file format. This data can later be used for the development of SPC, spreadsheets, or related data storage programs. Custom setups and periodic software upgrades are easily transferred from host computer to controller. This accessory includes a software installation program and cables to connect the data port on the controller to the serial port on a host computer. The computer interface accessory also includes a 110 or 220 VAC power adaptor. Excel programs with macros to conveniently view measurement results in graphic format are also included.

certified roughness standards are NIST traceableCertified Surface Roughness Specimen Plates & Certificates

Lasercheck® systems are factory calibrated prior to shipment. Options for fast, periodic checks and annual certification are available to maintain NIST traceability and ISO compliance. A certificate with actual roughness values measured with NIST traceability is provided. Certified plates are available for all models of Lasercheck measurement heads. Specimen plates for the model 5872 head require alignment mount accessories.
